Fiber Optic Cannula (Metal)

Inper offers a variety of implantable fiber optic cannula for Optogenetics and Photometry. The fiber optic cannula consists of a ceramic or metal ferrule and a length of bare fiber. With the aid of a stereotaxic device, the fiber optic cannula can be implanted into the target nerve nuclei, and fixed on the skull with dental cement and screws. The fiber optic cannula can be connected to the optogenetic fiber via a matched mating sleeve to transmit the light from the LED or laser source to the target nerve nucleus, and then regulates the activity of neurons.
